More Kerala Pictures

Alicia on the beach in Alleppy at sunset. From here we went to an amazing dinner at a place called 'Kream Korner'. The food was so good, we'll forgive the K-usage.

An overgrown canal in Alleppy.

Fort Cochin (aka Kochi) used to have a sizeable Jewish population during its height as a trading center on the Malabar coast. The Jewish community is now quite small with emigration to Israel, but there are still quite a few sights of their history.

We found a wonderful rickshaw driver, Jitu (mobile: 098-951-55042) who took us on tours of Fort Cochin. He is really a nice person, speaks English well, and knows all the sights. If you are on a relaxed pace like we are, be aware, he likes to drive around for hours on end!

Driving around with Jitu.
